Tomato And Garlic Bruschetta Is A Quick Recipe For A Pot-Luck Party, Get-Together Or Birthday Functions

Bruschetta-with-tomato-and-garlicBruschetta is a healthy food in the sense it uses fresh vegetables and it is fresh and less cooking is required thus the real taste of the vegetables are preserved from over cooking.

Ingredients:
½ French Baguette
2 Fresh red tomatoes – chopped
3 bulbs organic garlic – minced
3 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
¼ Fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt

Method:
Mix all the ingredients above in a bowl except for French baguette. Leave the ingredients aside till 1 hour before the party. Prepare the French baguette by cutting it into 1cm slices. Apply the mixed ingredients on top of the baguette and it’s ready to be served at the party. Do not apply the ingredients on top of the French baguette few hours before the party because baguette will become soggy. You may toast the bruschetta for a crispier toast.

Suggestion:
1 stalk of chopped Coriander leaves can be added to the mixture for an appetizing and tantalizing taste. This simple and healthy recipe has the needed nutrients.
