This almond cookies recipe is suitable for all occasions: Christmas, Chinese New Year, Deepavali And Eid Fitri.
- 1.5 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup granulated Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, soft
- 2 cups chopped almonds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1.5 cups of corn flakes
Stir flour, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl and set aside. Then, beat butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy; add in the vanilla essence towards the end. Next, include in 1 cup of chopped almonds and stir the flour with spatula. Then, add in the corn flakes and roll the flour in small balls while placing it on non greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F about 20 minutes.
Preparation time + Baking time: Around 2 hours
1 egg can be included, if you consume egg and Hazel Nut can be substituted for Almond. Vegetarian egg replacement powder can also be used instead of real egg.
