Mango Fruit Health Benefits and Medicinal Uses

Mango is a tropical fruit and it has more than 100 types of varieties. It is widely grown in Asia and Southeast Asia. Mango is high in calories and it is also a fattening fruit. There is a debate between Mango and Durian on who is the ‘King of Fruits’. Some of the famous mango names are Alphonso, Malgova, Irwin, Kent, White Pirie.

Mangoes can be used to make juice, fruit platter, Milkshake, chutney, dry fruit and cake.

– Mango is high in calories and carbohydrates, can be substitute for rice.
– Mango is high in iron and it good for pregnant women and people suffering from anemia.
