Hot milk with traditional herbs can be soothing for chesty flu patients. In addition to that, turmeric is a good redeemer for chesty flu.
- 500 ml fresh cow milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cooking turmeric powder
- 20 black pepper’s (Pound it)
- 4 Cardamom seeds (I have nickname it as “Time Bomb” as it releases the taste timely.)
- Sugar to taste
Boil milk in slow heat fire and add on the turmeric powder and cardamom. Sprinkle the pounded black pepper on top of the milk before turning off the fire. Finally add sugar according to taste preference. Best to consume the milk while it is hot.
Roasted almonds can be chopped and added into milk before consuming the delicious milk.
