Vegetable Rice Pulao Recipe

This recipe is suitable for vegetarians and health conscious people due to low calories.

Ingredients :
 
1 Cup Basmati Rice
1 Onion – cut lengthwise
1 Tomato – cut lengthwise
2 Carrots – cut thin lengthwise
15 grams peas
1 Potato – cut lengthwise
1 tablespoon Ginger & garlic paste
1/4 cup fresh plain yoghurt
Salt to taste
Chili powder to taste
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoon Cooking oil
1 Tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 small bunch chopped Fresh Mint
1/2 small bunch chopped Coriander Leaves
 
Method:

Pour oil in pan and stir fry onions till it is light brown. Then add tomatoes to it and stir till it is soft. Prepare rice cooker with water and put in the rice with water. Add all the vegetables and ingredients and let the rice to cook. Finally, add chopped coriander and mint as garnishing and serve it hot.
