Toasted Bread With Mushrooms Gravy Recipe For A Healthy Diet And Quick Meal

Mushrooms contain riboflavin, niacin and potassium nutrients which are needed in our daily nutrient intake. Mushrooms can come in handy for diet and health conscious people to grab a quick affordable meal for dinner or breakfast.

 

Ingredients

6 medium sized button mushrooms

2 teaspoon butter

1 teaspoon chopped parsley

2 tablespoons brown sauce or pepper sauce

½ teaspoon salt or according to taste

2 slices bread

Pepper to taste

¼ teaspoon lemon juice

 

Method

Remove stalks from mushroom, dry and chop it into small bits. Heat the pan and melt the butter in low heat, while the butter melts add on mushrooms, salt, pepper, lemon juice and chopped parsley and stir. Add on brown sauce or pepper sauce and let the ingredients simmer about 8 minutes or till the mushrooms are tender. Finally, toast the bread and put the mushroom mixture on top of the toast and serve hot.
