Cumin Rice recipe for Healthy and Vegetarian diet

In some countries, cumin seed is soaked in hot water and drank in the morning while being empty stomach, it helps stomach problems.  

Ingredients:

1 Cup Basmati Rice
2 Tablespoon Cumin seeds
An inch Ginger
2 Green chillies – chopped
Salt to taste
1 Bay leaf
2 Tablespoon Ghee
2 Cups Water
 
Method:

In a pan, heat ghee and fry ginger, chillies, bay leaf, and cumin seeds. Then add rice, salt and fry rice till it is well mixed. Transfer the ingredients to rice cooker, add water and let it cook. Finally, you can add fried onions, chopped corriander leaves or fried cashew nuts before serving the rice.
