Try this delicious pineapple jam tart recipe for Christmas.
Ingredients
- Processed pineapple Jam
- 1 kilogram Wheat Floor
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 2 Butter
Method
Sieve the floor, and include the butter while it is cold and frozen. Mix the flour with butter well and add in 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. If the is not mixed well add in more frozen butter. Cool the flour in the refrigerator for few minutes. Take it out and roll the dough on the table and use a pineapple tart cutter to cut the shape of the biscuits.
Then roll the pineapple jam in small roles and place in the middle of the cut dough. Place the shapes in cake baking container and bake in the oven.
Note:
Pre-heat the Oven 15 minutes before baking the jam tarts.
Suggestion:
You may add in 2 eggs if you consume egg in the flour while mixing with the butter. Use egg yolk and brush on top of the tart before baking. Do not forget to cool the egg in room temperature before using it. For vegans, there are also egg replacement powder which is available from certain supermarkets or stores.
