This is a Western vegetable salad recipe mixed with fruit.
Salad Ingredients
- 5 Organic Carrots
- 1 orange
- 1 lime
- 100 gm Thyme
- 2 Kiwi fruit
- Alfalfa sprouts
Seasoning Ingredients (Blend it together)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 dried red chili
- A pinch of Salt
- A pinch of Sarawak pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Method
Wash the carrots well and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain the water and arrange the carrots in the baking tray. Cut the orange and lime into half and arrange it on the baking tray. Spread thyme and pour the blended seasoning ingredients on top of the boiled carrot. Bake it for 20 – 25 minutes. Squeeze the orange and lime juice on top of the baked carrot. Finally slice kiwi and add on with alfalfa sprouts.
Suggestion
Avocado can be used to replace kiwi fruit. If the avocado is unripe, tie the avocado with banana in a bag and it will ripe faster.
